Job Description

Temp-to-hire engagement supporting active matters for a Los Angeles-based law firm. This substantive litigation role is ideal for a staff attorney who can manage complex, document-intensive matters. (This is not first-level review.)

  • Location: Fully remote (California residents only)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Pacific Time hours

What You'll Do

  • Provide substantive litigation support, including issue spotting, fact analysis, and case development under the direction of firm attorneys.
  • Conduct advanced discovery tasks such as second-level review, privilege analysis and logging, drafting review protocols, and running targeted Relativity searches.
  • Synthesize key documents, build chronologies, and support witness preparation and case development.
  • Collaborate with staff attorneys, eDiscovery counsel, and litigation teams across multiple matters as needs shift.

What We're Looking For

  • Active California attorney license in good standing
  • Prior Staff Attorney experience supporting complex litigation teams
  • Demonstrated experience in document-intensive litigation beyond first-level review
  • Proficiency with Relativity (searches, privilege workflows, protocol drafting)
  • Ability to work remotely during Pacific Time business hours
